Made from polyester fabric with a focus on achieving a texture similar to silk.
It is also machine washable and designed to retain its shape and resist wrinkles even when hung on a standard household hanger.

Unlike typical women's haori, the miyatsuguchi openings and sleeve openings are closed, preventing the sides of the body and upper arms from being exposed and keeping small items such as smartphones and wallets from falling out of the sleeves.
Because the miyatsuguchi openings and sleeve openings are closed, cold air cannot easily enter through them, helping keep your arms warm during colder seasons.
The sleeves are made slightly larger so that the haori can also be worn by men.
