大きな背紋と背面の裾のスリットは、戦国武将の陣羽織と江戸時代の火事装束、打裂（ぶっさき）羽織の意匠を取り入れました。
・これらに共通する大きな背紋について
火消しは自らの組を示し、人々を守る誇りを背負い、武将は家紋を掲げ、自らの信念や覚悟を示してきたとされています。
それぞれの時代に生きた人々が自身の所属や使命、誇りを背中に刻んだ姿勢をデザインに取り入れ、「一人ひとりの個性が大切にされ、尊重されますように」という、MISAMARUが創業時より背紋に込め続けてきた願いを、手書き原案の刺繍で大胆に表現しました。
2周年という節目に、改めてその想いを大切にするという意味を込めて、日本の歴史の中で象徴的な背紋文化をモチーフとして採用。
刺繍には上品な銀糸を採用し、落ち着きと存在感を兼ね備えた一着へ仕上げました。

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of modern Japanese fashion brand MISAMARU, a special limited-edition"Half Kimono" is now available!
Both the outer fabric and lining are made from a linen-blend material with the classic texture of traditional kimono, offering a comfortable and breathable wearing experience.
The large embroidered back crest and slit at the back hem are inspired by the jinbaori worn by Sengoku-period warlords (about 400–500 years ago), as well as firefighters' coats and bussaki haori from Japan's Edo period (1603–1868, about 160–420 years ago).
・About the large back crest
Historically, firefighters displayed the crest of their brigade as a symbol of their duty to protect others, while samurai warlords wore their family crests to represent their convictions, loyalty, and resolve.
Inspired by the way people of these eras proudly carried their identity, purpose, and beliefs on their backs, this design boldly expresses, through embroidery based on an original hand-drawn artwork, the message MISAMARU has cherished since its founding:
"May every person's individuality be valued and respected."
To commemorate our second anniversary, we chose Japan's iconic tradition of back crests as the central design motif, reaffirming the values that have always been at the heart of MISAMARU.
The embroidery is stitched with elegant silver thread, creating a refined piece with both subtle sophistication and a strong visual presence.
The Half Kimono is a versatile piece that works beautifully with traditional Japanese attire, Japanese-Western fusion outfits, or as an easy-to-wear haori.
Enjoy two styling options as both a kimono and a haori.
Pair it with a skirt to effortlessly create a Japanese-Western fusion outfit.
Its shorter length also makes dressing much quicker.
Pair it with hakama and zori or geta sandals for a traditional Japanese look.
Machine washable at home, so you can wear it with confidence even on warm days.
It retains its shape and resists wrinkles even when dried on a standard household hanger, making everyday care easy.
Unlike conventional women's kimono or haori, the sleeve openings are sewn closed, preventing the sides of the body and upper arms from being exposed.
In addition to large pockets, the sleeves are specially designed to securely hold small items such as smartphones and wallets, helping prevent them from falling out.
